Massage therapy has been a transformative part of my life since it played a key role in my own healing journey in recovering from fibromyalgia. That personal experience is what inspired me to become a massage therapist-I understand firsthand how powerful and restorative bodywork can be.
At the Birmingham School of Massage, I received comprehensive training in professional massage therapy including an additional certification in Neuromuscular Therapy (Trigger Point Therapy). I continue to expand my skill set, studying sports massage and Graston Therapy to better support clients with injuries and performance goals-as a runner I appreciate the importance of preventing and recovering from sports injuries.
With a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Auburn University, I bring a unique perspective to bodywork. My background helps me understand biomechanics and the effects of pressure on muscle and connective tissue in a practical, results-oriented way. I approach every session as a problem solver, listening to each client's concerns and feedback to tailor a treatment that addresses the root causes of pain and dysfunction.
My goal is to support each client's wellness journey-whether that means relieving chronic pain, reducing stress, recovering from injury, or improving athletic performance-with thoughtful, informed, and individualized care.
